Mi nombre es Andrea Vigano. Soy fotógrafa y traductora de inglés. Me formé en la Asociación de Reporteros Gráficos de la República Argentina (ARGRA) y actualmente estoy estudiando en el CFP Barreiro Aguirre con Tamara Grinberg, Facundo Nívolo y Pablo Viviant.
Mi trabajo se orienta hacia la fotografía documental, impulsado por la convicción de que la imagen tiene la capacidad de inmortalizar lo que está a punto de desaparecer. Fotografiar, para mí, es una forma de traducir emociones, gestos y huellas, de construir memoria y de abrir preguntas. Es un marco, es mi motor, lo que me señala que estoy viva.

I’m Andrea Vigano, a photographer and English–Spanish translator. I studied photojournalism at Argentina’s Association of Photojournalists (ARGRA) and am currently studying with Tamara Grinberg, Facundo Nívolo, and Pablo Viviant at the CFP Barreiro Aguirre.
My work is rooted in documentary photography. I am drawn to what is fleeting, to the moments and places that are slowly fading from the world. For me, the camera is a way of holding onto emotions, gestures, and traces — of shaping memory and asking questions that linger. A frame. A pulse. Proof that I am here.
